After a successful sale, we found some interesting results in Hest Bank.
We love analysing properties especially those crammed with character and bursting with beautiful unique details. One thing that we find more interesting than anything else is the price per square foot analysis. So very quickly we thought we’d share what we found.

The average square foot price in the area is: £228 sqft

The most expensive home sold recently (where we can see the data) is: 7 Hatlex Hill coming out at £220sqft. This home was sold for £635,000 in April of 2017. It’s a beauty, we love the open plan kitchen/family room opened seamlessly onto a beautiful slate terrace and large garden.

The most value for money house sold recently based on price per square foot was 6 Hatlex Hill who got quite a lot for their money, at £116.17 per square foot when it sold for £385,000 back in August 2017.
Remember Whitecroft that we sold? (Check it out here) Well, it came out at £219 per square foot, exactly at the average price for the Council Tax Band E which it is in. if it had still been on the market for £499,950 what are the chances it would have sold for £497,385? Very low indeed. We are proud of what we have achieved here at VMOVE.
